#77 Thoughts from the back deck of my friend's house in Michigan... Two Roads.

Robert Frost The Road Not Taken Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. It's been a busy couple of weeks: Helene, a pastors conference, Monster Milton. Full of good and challenging moments. A baptism of a one-month-old baby and a smiling family especially his big sister. A large funeral where I met a lot of great people coming together for the comfort of community and the gospel. Teachers and friends came together to help one of our teachers, her husband, two young children, her mom, dad, and brother, who were completely flooded out. A man who served his country for many years, whom I really respect, is going to see Jesus really soon and his daughters at his bedside. A friend who is in the hospital and has cancer and his property has downed trees everywhere and there is nothing he can do about it. Gathering even at a luncheon by Options for Women to hear and support the NO on 4 constitutional amendment.  No electric. Cold showers. Food I had to pitch out due to the power being out.  Plenty to wring your hands over.  Elections are about 20 day...
